The Anniversary Sale at work takes a lot out of me, hence a distinct lack of posting. I’ve had a few things taking up my time in addition to work. My bike is finished, and is now hawt.

Here it is, from the side.
See the full-frontal image.

In addition, two sets of friends got married this weekend. Amanda and Tommy got hitched in New York. Geoff and Kylie made it a little more local, and got married just down the road.

I’ve been trying a new technique of color-correcting my photos, which I gleaned from a great tutorial.

Seven Things That Are Keeping Me From My New Bike

  1. The rear wheel splines are too big. Stupid set-up for 10-speed cassette.
  2. My tires aren’t here, though I could buy cheap ones.
  3. The front derailleur needs a shim.
  4. I couldn’t stand to be at work on my day off any longer.
  5. And I was hungry and Sarah’s chicken was turning to rubber.
  6. The bike is at work while I am at home.
  7. Fate. Fate keeps me from my new bike.

It’s almost a bike. It’s like half a bike. But golly is it pretty.
