earlier than thou

Tee hee. Never in my life did I think that I would post about the new Star Wars DVDs nearly 11 full hours before Slashdot. Hooray for The Digital Bits for keeping me in the loop.

Actually, /. is usually slow and is rarely the best place for breaking news, given the way their process (reader submits story, editor accepts it) works. It’s usually more fun for the comments…at least, if you set a decent threshold.

However I’m about 20% as vigilant as /.ers in every single aspect of my computing life. And I do mean those whose comments I even see. (I set my threshold at 4.)
