TiVo

Ok, so one night about…oh, nine months ago, I had a very long and involved discussion with Bryan (while eating at an In-n-Out Burger) about why I thought TiVo was a waste of time. And now we have one. Heh. Guess he convinced me.

Now we’re the proud owners of the Samsung SIR-S4120R, which is a DirectTV unit. So we’re able to (as of this coming Friday) watch a previously recorded show, while recording two shows simultaneously. It’s cool. :D Plus there’s a $30 rebate from Samsung and a $50 rebate from TiVo. Not to mention that TiVo service through our existing DirectTV account is only $4.99/month. w00t!

All this is good because, well, I fell asleep before 24 even started last night.

It’s ALIVE!!

I am, at least.

Snowboarding tomorrow has been cancelled, alas, due to Kirkwood’s need to be open last weekend, only to close for Friday, in order to have a “grand opening” on Saturday, the 22nd. Lame. And we even got Lucila to not go to her school project thing. I’m going to try and go up on Monday, which I have off. But gas prices make it less fun to go by myself.

Work has been hectic. I’ve been working with our new hires, trying to get them up to speed. Running training is time consuming, and also very tiring. One guy has already quit. Because he’s going to be the perfume spraying guy in a department store. Seriously. Am I the only one who thinks of Joey as the Bijan Cologne Man on Friends?

Tomorrow I shall geek about TiVo and Angel. :D

is this interesting

My dear nougatmachine,

I’m sorry you’ve found my blog to be uninteresting, but I’m busy working most of the time, and have nothing to blog about.

These days, I’m working. Today I presented an appreciation award to one of my employees. And I had a lot of coffee. On Friday, I hope to go snowboarding.

The end. :D

No really, there will be more soon, I hope.
